The Tampa Hillsborough Expressway Authority’s Executive Director & CEO, Greg Slater, provides Tampa City Council members with an update regarding the upcoming expansion of the Lee Roy Selmon Expressway. Officials said the $362 million project, which is funded entirely through toll revenues with no tax dollars, will widen the roadway to the inside, and improve traffic flow. Construction is nearing and expected to begin this spring.
